Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as one of the most transformative technologies of the twenty-first century, influencing nearly every aspect of human life. While AI has demonstrated remarkable capabilities in automating routine tasks, generating creative content, and assisting decision-making, it has also raised significant ethical, cultural, and social concerns. This paper examines the evolving relationship between artificial intelligence and human creativity from a humanities and social science perspective. It explores how AI contributes to creative industries, education, literature, media, and cultural preservation while simultaneously presenting challenges related to originality, employment, ethics, and intellectual property. Using a qualitative review of contemporary literature, the paper argues that AI should be viewed as a collaborative tool rather than a replacement for human creativity. The study concludes that responsible governance, ethical regulation, and interdisciplinary education are essential for maximizing AI's benefits while minimizing its societal risks.
