Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become one of the most transformative technologies of the twenty-first century. From education and healthcare to governance and communication, AI is reshaping how societies function. While technological advancements have improved efficiency and innovation, they have also introduced ethical, social, and cultural challenges that require careful examination. This paper explores the relationship between digital citizenship and social responsibility in the era of artificial intelligence. It discusses the impact of AI on education, employment, democratic participation, privacy, and social inclusion. The study further emphasizes the importance of ethical governance, digital literacy, and responsible technological development. Using a qualitative review of existing literature, the paper concludes that AI should be developed and utilized in ways that prioritize human dignity, transparency, accountability, and social welfare.
