Abstract

Urdu non-fiction literature reflects a rich artistic tradition and a long historical legacy. It encompasses genres such as biography, character sketch, essay, travelogue, letters, article writing, and other forms of prose that have enriched Urdu literature with depth and diversity. The objective of this research paper is to critically examine the historical tradition, artistic characteristics, and literary significance of Urdu non-fiction literature.
